I really need to thank you and Sarah for being there for me. You guys could have easily said, “This isn’t my problem. This is your problem. Your lack of due diligence is entirely your fault,” and not done anything at all. But you guys have been there for me every step of the way. You responded on Voxer at 3:42 in the morning. Honestly, who works at that time. So just the fact that you guys were there for me, I appreciate it so much.

We’ve been listening to Jason’s podcasts since 2011. After the market crashed in 2008, we needed to do something different and so we started listening to different podcasts about real estate. We’re in Memphis, Indianapolis, St. Louis, and Kansas City. It keeps us connected on what’s going on with different markets and even the economy. I enjoy that so and my husband does too.

I’ve been following Jason’s company ever since 2007. I went through a seminar at his Newport Beach office and I’ve been listening to his podcasts since then. A couple years ago, we went on the property tour in Cincinnati and it was great. We actually sold our Texas property and did a 1031 exchange in Hamilton, Ohio and they’ve been working out great for us ever since.

From the initial market recommendation from yourself right through to the leasing process with the property manager, everyone has been just totally professional and the communication is excellent, especially with being such a long distance away.

I like real estate just because I like the benefit of being able to have a mortgage pay off real estate over time so that when I retire I have something. I like the fact that it’s boring. I want to be able to be entertained and travel and do a lot of things in my retirement. And that boring investment of real estate allows me to do that.

Once we did encounter some challenges, because we were part of your network and because I have an investment counselor, I always felt like I had somewhere to go for an answer. I always felt like I had somebody with more experience than me that I could lean on. And if Sarah didn’t know the answer, she got the answer.

Just invest. It’s still a great thing to do. I know it can be scary to a lot of people. Jason’s been doing this a long time. He’s got a lot of knowledge. We’re in an age of technology and everything’s at our fingertips. Do a lot of homework on your own, but in the end, make sure you’re talking to professionals like Jason.

It’s really good that you’ve got these investment counselors that help you navigate the waters because it really does take knowledge and some helping hands to make sure that you’re investing in the right way.

I thought the event was amazing. I thought that I knew a lot about real estate but coming to your seminar I realized there’s a lot of things that I don’t know. One thing that you do besides teach me a lot about real estate is you inspired me to look beyond where I live and to and shrink down the world and make it smaller so that I can invest some places that are further away and get a better return. So I really appreciate that and I’m excited to be here this weekend. Thanks for doing these events because they’re great.
